Rhodes Citrus - Rhodes Citrus situated in the Swaziland Lowveld – known to be one of the best citrus growing regions in the world, produces 28,000 tons of citrus per annum and the range includes fresh oranges, grapefruit and lemons. These are grown on a 2,200 ha. Estate of which 750 ha's are under irrigated citrus.
The 750-hectare self-owned citrus plantations form an integral part of the Group’s operations. This is because it ensures that the factory controls the supply of quality raw material. Swazican also operates a pack house and exports fresh citrus fruit to the European and Japanese markets. Swazican Citrus is EurepGap certified.
