The 2009 National Ayrshire Championships were held from 29/04/2009 - 01/05/2009 in Bloemfontein. Rhodes Food Group were once again awarded several trophies and prizes in the following categories:

• Group of 3 heifers under 24 months - Alex Drysdale Trophy
• Group of 3 cows/heifers under 3 years - Alfa Laval Floating Trophy
• Udder Champion under 4 years - US Ayrshire Society Trophy
• Production class winner 30 000kg milk
• Reserve Champion Heifer - Ayrshire Society Reserve National Champion Heifer Trophy
• Reserve Young Cow Champion - Ayrshire Society Reserve National Young Cow Champion Trophy
