Rhodes Dairy Does it Again!
Congratulations to the Rhodes Dairy Team on the fantastic achievements at the 2009 S.A. Dairy Championships!
Not only did we receive great recognition in being awarded the ‘Best Stand at the Cheese Festival’ for our Portobello stand but were flattered to achieve a number of awards across the following cheese categories:
Fior de Latte Mozzarella:
• Bocconcini – 2nd and 3rd place
Pasta Filata Cheese:
• Provolone – 1st Place
Surface Ripened Cheese:
• Franschoek White – 3rd place
Mascarpone with Condiments:
• Apricot and Almond Duetto – 1st place
• Melon and Ginger Duetto – 2nd place
• Apple, Prune and Pecan Nut Duetto – 3rd place
Ricotta – 2nd place
Soft and Semi Soft Cheese with Condiments:
• Basil Marinated Pearl Mozzarella – 1st place
• Tomato, Olive and Garlic Marinated Pearl Mozzarella – 3rd place
