Rhodes Food Group is a South African-based diversified foods business that produces and delivers quality brand products to both local and international retailers. Based in the Franschhoek Valley of the Western Cape, the Rhodes Food Group also boasts highly successful operations in Gauteng, the Limpopo Province and Swaziland. These operations provide quality fresh and premium canned goods that are distributed to top retailers around the world, including those in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Far East, Australia and other African countries.

To ensure quality fruit and vegetables for processing into the Rhodes Food Group’s leading brands, we have invested in creating our own large agricultural base so that we can maintain our ‘soil to shelf’ quality maxim across the entire product range. Rhodes Food Group is known not only for the premium quality of its products but also for its commitment to providing superlative customer service and competitive pricing allowing the Group to take a leading role in the diversified foods business.

There are two main divisions in the Rhodes Food Group. The first is Rhodes Foods, a product range consisting of canned deciduous fruit including canned peaches and pears, citrus and canned pineapples; canned vegetables; tomato products; jam and juice concentrates and purees. Our second division, Fresh Foods, focuses on prepared ready meals, fresh pasta, pasta sauces, quiches, pies and a range of dairy products. Our products are distributed under the Rhodes, Hazeldene, Magpie and Portobello brand names.
